This medication can be used up to 7 weeks from the first day of your last period (5 weeks from conception)


80% will be completed in the first week. There is a 5% chance that after 2 weeks you will require more medication or surgery. Less than 2% of the time the pregnancy will continue to grow and a surgical abortion is necessary.

You should not use this medication if you have an allergy to the medications, blood clotting problems or active liver or renal disease.


If you do not have BC Medical coverage you may choose this medication as an alternative to Mifepristone. The cost for this medication is $100.00 + the cost of the office visits $400.00.
